Hey there!

I’m so excited to be teaching Transitional Kindergarten at Akers Elementary this year!

Before coming to Akers, I worked in preschool, completed my student teaching in fourth grade while earning my master’s degree in elementary education, and was a long-term substitute teacher in kindergarten. I have always loved working with children and being part of their growth during such an important time in their lives.

I want my classroom to be a place where every child feels safe, cared for, and excited to come to school. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of my students and their families and making this a fun and memorable year!
