California's Universal Meals is provided at no cost to all students attending our school district. Under the new California Universal Meals program all schools must be under a provision. Akers and Neutra Elementary are Provision 2 Schools, the state requires all Provision 2 schools to continue to collect Meal Applications yearly. Completing a meal application is encouraged, these provide additional benefits to you and the district such as grants, program funding for free meals, athletic waivers, and textbooks assistance regardless of qualifications.
