Ms. Post - Fifth Grade

Hello, I'm Danielle Post. I began my career in education as an instructional aide at Akers. After getting my credential, I taught 6th grade at both Alpaugh and Central Elementary.  I am excited to be back where it all started, teaching 5th grade at Akers. I have been aboard NAS Lemoore since 2004, so I look forward to teaching in this community that holds a special place in my heart.

This year will be full of wonderful learning opportunities with a student-centered approach. The students will be exploring U.S. History, a variety of Life, Earth, and Physical Sciences, as well as advancing skills in Math and ELA based on the Common Core State Standards. They will learn to use a variety of resources and explore through hands-on activities.

In order to have a successful year, the students will be held to strict conduct expectations. I have 3 classroom rules: 1. Be a respectful student (students will define this on the first day), 2. Come to class prepared, 3. Dream big, work hard! Students will be encouraged to conduct themselves appropriately through positive reinforcement. Together, we will have an excellent year full of learning and growth!

As always, feel free to contact me with questions through email or phone!
