CENTRAL UNION ELEMENTARY
FACILITY MASTER PLAN
COMMUNITY PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETINGS
The Central Union Elementary School District is beginning a Facilities Master Plan for the District, in order to clearly Define the Facilities needs of the District, Prioritize the projects to be done on a site by site basis, and Maximize the use of Local, State and Federal funding to use the taxpayer’s money in the best possible way.
The Master Planning team will be conducting site assessments of each of the District’s schools, including equity analyses, and developing a database of facilities needs. They will identify costs of all identified needs, and will identify potential funding sources. Based on District and community input, prioritization criteria will be developed and used to rank the District’s facilities needs.
As a part of this process, the District is conducting a series of Community Meetings, to familiarize the Community with the Master Planning process, and to later develop priorities and outcomes for the Facilities’ Master Plan. The initial Community meetings will be on May 10, 2016 as follows:
|10:30 AM-12:00 PM
||Central School Community – Central Union District Presentation Center
|1:00 PM-2:30 PM
||Stratford School Community – Stratford Gymnasium
|5:00 PM-6:30 PM
||Akers & Neutra School Communities - Akers Multipurpose Room
There will also be periodic updates posted on the District’s website to allow the community to review and comment on the ongoing Facilities Master Plan. We look forward to seeing you at the Community meetings!
